This is just another example of why you should be watching "Parks and Recreation." (If you aren't, you can get caught up on hulu.com, which has all 11 episodes from this season available to watch. It's free, but you do have to have an account.)In Episode 11, "Tom's Divorce," the crew is trying to cheer up Tom, who just got divorced. They end up taking him to a strip club. Here's Leslie Knope's reaction right before they go in, and right after. The brilliant part of this scene is you don't have to be a feminist to find it funny (though it might help, who knows). And to preempt any shouts of "slut shaming," if you watch the full episode, and especially the full series, I don't think you'll find that to be the case.
Should that video clip not work, here is the dialogue, thanks to Knope Knows:
Ciara: Ciara.
Leslie: Ciara, sorry it’s loud in here. And, um, I gave her money to writhe around on your parts.
Leslie (to Ciara): Go crazy, OK? Give my friend here the works. Really grind the sorrow out of him.
Tom: This isn’t working. I don’t want to do this.
Leslie: Is it because you have a strong positive female figure watching you?
